How Much to Charge for a UGC Video in 2026? Complete Guide with Real Pricing
If you're a UGC creator and you don't know how much to charge, you're not alone. It's one of the most common questions in the community — and one of the most important, because undervaluing your work has direct consequences for your business.
At AG Agency we've been working with creators and brands for years. In this guide we share the real price ranges the market is paying in 2026, how to adjust them based on your context, and the factors that push the price of a UGC video up or down.
What is UGC and why does pricing matter?
UGC (User Generated Content) is content created by creators to be used by brands — mainly in Meta and TikTok ads. It's not the same as being an influencer: you don't need a following. The brand uses the video on its own account or in paid media.
Pricing matters because:
- If you charge too little, brands will overwork you and you'll burn out
- If you charge too much without experience, you'll lose opportunities
- If you don't have clarity on your pricing, you'll improvise in every conversation and close badly
Real price ranges by country — 2026
Argentina
| Experience | Video up to 30 sec | Video 30-60 sec | Video 1-3 min |
|---|---|---|---|
| Just starting out | USD 30-60 | USD 50-90 | USD 80-140 |
| 6 months - 1 year | USD 60-120 | USD 90-180 | USD 140-280 |
| 1 to 2 years | USD 120-250 | USD 180-350 | USD 280-500 |
| +2 years | USD 250-500 | USD 350-700 | USD 500-1000 |
Important for Argentina: always quote in USD. Inflation makes quoting in ARS a constant risk. The client can pay in ARS at the exchange rate of the payment day — but the agreement is always in dollars.

| Advanced | EUR 250-600 | EUR 400-900 |
Factors that change the price
1. Usage rights (the most important)
Usage rights are the permission you give the brand to use your video in paid media. It's the factor that increases the price the most.
| Type of rights | Multiplier |
|---|---|
| No rights (organic only) | × 1.0 |
| 30 days | × 1.15 |
| 90 days | × 1.30 |
| 6 months | × 1.50 |
| 1 year | × 1.75 |
| Perpetual | × 2.50 |
Example: if your base is USD 100, with 1-year rights the price is USD 175.
2. Platforms
| Platform | Multiplier |
|---|---|
| TikTok only or Reels only | × 1.0 |
| TikTok + Reels | × 1.4 |
| Long-form YouTube (+3 min) | × 1.6 |
3. Additional deliverables
| Extra | Surcharge |
|---|---|
| Raw video without editing | + 25% |
| No subtitles | + 10% |
| No music | + 10% |
| Extra revision (each) | + USD 15-25 flat |
| Category exclusivity | + 35% |
4. Client country
| Client country | Multiplier |
|---|---|
| Argentina | × 1.0 |
| Mexico / Colombia | × 1.1 |
| Chile | × 1.2 |
| Spain | × 1.8 |
| USA / International | × 2.0 |
When should you accept product trade?
A trade is when the brand pays you with product instead of money. There are cases where it's worth it and cases where it's not.
Worth it when:
- The product value is greater than what you'd charge in cash
- It's an aspirational brand that gives you real visibility in your niche
- The product is something you'd genuinely use
- There's a clear written agreement
Not worth it when:
- The product is worth less than your usual rate
- It's your main source of income (trades don't pay rent)
- They ask for exclusivity without additional compensation
- There's no contract or written agreement
The golden rule: if the brand has budget to put that video into paid media, they have budget to pay you. Trades are for small brands with aspirational products, not for companies that are going to use your content in ads.
How to present your price to a brand
Never give your price first. Ask what their budget is. If they don't say, give a range.
Example message: "For a 30-60 second UGC video for TikTok with 90 days of usage rights, my rate is USD 120 to USD 180 depending on the brief. Would you like me to put together a proposal with the breakdown?"
When they ask for a discount: Don't drop the price — offer fewer deliverables. "I can do it for USD 100 but without usage rights included, or for USD 120 with 30 days of rights."

Frequently asked questions
Can I charge more if I have followers? For pure UGC (the brand uses the video on its own account), followers aren't that relevant. What matters is the quality of the video and the experience. If on top of that the brand wants you to publish it on your own account (influencer), then yes, the value of your audience is added.
Do I charge per video or per project? Per video is the cleanest. If the brand wants 3 videos, you charge 3 times your rate (with a possible volume discount). Never work hourly for UGC — it doesn't make sense and you always end up losing.
Do I include editing in the price? Depends on what you agreed. The most common is for the creator to deliver the edited video. If the brand also wants the raw footage, that's 25% more.
